"Snowy Wasteland 2.0" - The Ice Has Melted
Frostbite Studios has unveiled a long-awaited graphical update for its flagship game, Snowblind. The 2.0 version patch takes the visual experience to the next level, making the already dark world even more immersive and harsh.
The key improvement is the full integration of ray tracing technology for reflections and shadows. Now, the icy surfaces and icy ruins of cities reflect the dim winter light realistically, while the long shadows cast by the skeletons of the dead forests create a unique atmosphere of longing and solitude. The particle system has been completely redesigned: the blizzard is no longer just an overlay effect, but a full-fledged weather phenomenon. Snow sticks to the character's clothing, covers up footprints, and visibility dynamically changes depending on the wind strength.
